When MSFT Execs move on they give insight on industry

At least this is what Gregory says. His analysis is that the moves give a hint on what industries are developing, and that there may even be partnerships in the works.

Well, as per Stephen’s move to Nokia, we all wish he will be able to provide some sense of urgency to his new company to enter more aggressively the smartphone competitive arena – maybe strengthening the ties with Windows Phone.

As per the others’ moves I am not sure there is much more, other than the fact that mobile, gaming and online services are definitely growing industries.

The other comment that he makes is that none go to Apple, Google or Oracle. Evidently those companies have developed such a strong anti-MS culture that poaching with microsoftees is not common practice…
